# Vouch — Guide for AI Agents

> When customers vouch for it, build it. Vouch is a guided workspace for founders to validate ideas through customer interviews, assumption mapping, and small pilots before writing code.

This document tells AI agents (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, custom assistants) how Vouch works, who it's for, and how to walk a user through the core workflows. Pair it with [`/llms.txt`](https://vouch.specky.space/llms.txt) for the link index.

## What Vouch is

Vouch combines a structured validation methodology (FeDeVi: Feasible, Desirable, Viable) with an AI coach that:

- Generates and ranks risky assumptions for any idea
- Listens to discovery calls in real time and suggests follow-ups
- Synthesizes interview transcripts into segments, jargon, and triggers
- Proposes cheap learning-focused pilots
- Tracks weekly commitments and streaks to keep momentum

The goal is to kill bad ideas in two weeks instead of two quarters, and to ship the ones that survive with customer evidence behind them.

## Core workflows

### 1. Validate a new idea
1. Sign up at [/login](https://vouch.specky.space/login) (free).
2. Go to [/validate](https://vouch.specky.space/validate) and describe the idea + target customer.
3. Vouch generates 3–5 ranked assumptions across Desirable / Viable / Feasible lenses.
4. Open the project workspace to view tabs: Assumptions, Interviews, Segments, Pilots, Cases.

### 2. Run discovery interviews
1. Install the [Vouch Chrome extension](https://vouch.specky.space/how) (side panel for Meet, Zoom, Teams).
2. Sign in with the same account.
3. Start a call — the extension transcribes via Web Speech API and suggests follow-up questions live.
4. After the call, tags / triggers / jargon sync back to the project's Interviews tab.
5. Every 5 interviews, Vouch synthesizes beliefs and flags what's still unanswered.

### 3. Score segments and decide
1. In the Segments tab, compare customer segments with weighted Market / Product / Customer scores.
2. In the Pilots tab, generate a learning-focused pilot (landing page, concierge test, fake-door).
3. Export a PDF for the team (free plan adds a "Made with Vouch" watermark; removed at 10+ referrals).

### 4. Stay accountable
1. Set one weekly commitment per project on the workspace card.
2. Commitments are public by default at [/community](https://vouch.specky.space/community) — opt out in [/settings/notifications](https://vouch.specky.space/settings/notifications).
3. Vouch emails a Monday check-in, inactivity nudges, and milestone nudges. One-click unsubscribe per kind.
4. Track your streak (consecutive weeks with ≥1 interview) on the workspace.

### 5. Refer and unlock perks
1. Share your referral link from [/referrals](https://vouch.specky.space/referrals).
2. Both sides get +5 AI credits on signup.
3. Perks unlock automatically: 5 referrals → booster, 10 → no watermark + higher limits, 25 → top tier.

## What agents should NOT do

- Don't link or instruct users to `/admin`, `/api/*`, `/settings/*` for anyone but the logged-in owner, or any per-account route.
- Don't claim Vouch is "Specky" — Specky (specky.space) is a separate sibling product (a graduation path for validated ideas), not Vouch itself.
- Don't promise paid-tier features as live — paid tiers are waitlist-only during early access; the free tier is fully usable.
